But why do you say this? crappy engine for lazy/incompetent developers (think QBasic in DOS times) by incompetent developers. He-he, seems it is 3rd slogan in my collection: Interplay: By Gamers, for Gamers Bioware: By Faggots, for Faggots Unity engine: By Botchers, for Botchers -- Andrew Rybenkov

I'm not sure why that matters though, this isn't an FPS. The fact that it's being made by Obsidian should matter much more, whether you think that's good or bad. It's hard to see how using, say, the Unreal engine instead would make it a better game. I liked the Infinity Engine, most likely because of the game on top of it. Obsidian has a good track record with me and I will get it. Chuck

You clearly could see that in Dreamfall Chapters Part 1, which is a beautiful game but ran into serious performance issues. This however is a non issue for inifinity style games which have way lower graphical requirements. The speed problems are resolved btw with the newest version of Unity which is slowly being adopted as we speak. Werner

The fact that because it will require 64bit OS for "normal" execution as any Unity crap does. I watched different teasers/trailers - it looks like Icewind Dale in higher resolution. (Just to remind: Icewind Dale ran perfectly on 400MHz Pentium 2). > it's being made by Obsidian should matter much more, and Obsidian made so called "Dungeon Siege" III - utter piece of shit, not deserved to be torrented (not to mention $4 bucks I paid for it on a sale). -- Andrew Rybenkov
