I'm out of my area of expertise, but wasn't it sort of an unwritten rule that
films not portray evil defeating good in order to avoid inspiring the public
to follow suit.
I remeber hearing some stuff about this when Natural born Killers came out.
There is certainly a movie where evil defeats good and gets away with it.
I may well be wrong, so if you want to flame me and have a valid reason, by
all means do so. Either way, I doubt there are many movies where a child
rapist wreaks havoc on a small town without retribution, that I would want to
see, never mind pay $7.00 for.
