Okay, I've just realised that a few messages I meant for the ng have been sent to various people...so I've tried to rescue what I meant to post. Here's one: About the nastiness of aliens! I liked Apocs aliens better..but maybe that was 'cos I liked the game better! Grenades were lethal, and devastators just as bad. And entropy launchers? Killers! > Chrysalids were much nasty than the 'aliens'. Okay, not grenades - although they were used more often in Apoc. as they were easier to prime. And entropies were MUCH more than annoying...homing acid bombs that destroyed equipment and could cripple men and shields! > >> Chrysalids were much nasty than the 'aliens'. Sorry, but that is completely false. Aliens have much more armour than the soldiers in UFO, as well as better weapons (at the start). In Apoc., same as in UFO, the aliens started out much harder, then grew less lethal as time went on...with the advent of shields, both sides were relatively equal! And Toxin C versus aliens evened up the entropy guns and devastators they used! > >> Yes...I have to agree with you, UFO was what we all wanted. > > > >Yup! You misunderstand....I meant that your agents get better = aliens less threat. Greenish_9
