Has anyone noticed that the frame rate of UNREAL doesn't
increase much when the res is dropped from 640/480 to 512/384?
The game averages around the 50 msec mark through the game, and
it hardly makes any diff at all on my system, maybe 2-3 msec
on the stat fps results, when set to a lower res... Big Deal.
The quality is significantly better at 640, I find.
800x600 with the V2 must be awesome.

My system

MMX 200 o/c to 250/83
voodoo1 @ 51 Mhz
64 MB RAM

Yeah, I noticed that. I also noticed that in some large areas with lots of
lighting efects, 640x480 works faster than 512x384.

Then your processor is the bottle neck. I find that at 1024 x 768 on
my 12MB SLI setup, it runs roughly the same as 800 x 600. I have a Pro
233 128MB.
