There is no HEXEN editor I know of, and DEU and HEU don't work because they
don't pick up the level-data right and instead show a bunch of garbage. I
still have to double check DETH, but last time it looked like nothing change
any of the levels it was displaying. HELP!

Get Deth2666.zip from ftp.cdrom.com.. there's also a nodes builder out
there..it's called Zen095.zip.. you might have to hex edit the wad once
you get done building its nodes.. Deth2.666 doesn't have the right values
for the "When appear" flag..

     Later,

If you don't want to hex edit, you can make your level without things, then
copy the thing table from another hexen level, and grab the items from there..
Thats what I had to do.. Oh yeah The lev. I made is basically a copy of
DOOM ][ level 1.. except a few extra Hexen things. I added a spiral staircase
using those sparkly playforms, and at the top a jump for the maulotar thing..
If you miss the jump you fall down a really deep hole. I'm going to upload it
to cdrom.com when I get a chance.. it'll be called doomhexn.zip..

					Jason
Oh yeah, let me know if you
find a different editor, maybe
with better thing handling,
or even better.. support
for scripts..

The new version of DETH is v2.67, and the beta of HETH v0.6 does
create HEXEN PWADs from scratch. The nodes builder, ZenNode v0.95,
will work with HEXEN PWADs. There are still a few things that don't
work quite right (LineDefs, scripts, etc), but we're working on them
now.

I have a new version to upload within the next day or so. Check
ftp.cdrom.com in the usual places.<g>

How do you copy the thing table and what does that mean? I really want to
experiment with those "walkways". They hold tremendous possibilities, like a
deathmatch level which is a DEEP pit with walkways all the way around and
stuff, would be really freaky.

How do you copy the thing table and what is it? I tried make a foggy HEXEN
level with tons of weapons for deathmatch and it didn't put ANY of the weapons
or the frozen pedestol I put in for decoration. HELP!

Check Out my Page. http://www.compassnet.com/~darkstar/home.html--
It has a few different Hexen editors. And some links to other Hexen Pages
that can help w/ Creating Hexen Wads. And the Idea About the blue sparklie
walkways will only work to an extent. The more things Hexen has in a wad,
the slower it becomes. Especially overlapping things like Blue Sprarklies.
