I know most PC's run GUI's, but they are Operating ENVIRONMENTS, not OS'es. Unless you count NT, which is actually decent in most respects, although not as clean as MacOS or X. As far as wanting a mac, I never said I did, but if I had to choose a mac over a Win95 machine, I'd take the Mac just so I wouldn't have to fuck with it. In the real world, productivity (i.e. actual work) is far more important than anything else. Tell someone with no computing experience which OS they would much rather use, and it's about 3 to 2, Mac over PC. Yes, these are actual statistics from "Personal Computer Satisfaction", published by Evans Research Associates, April 1996. They compared Mac & Win95 units. So there. > I frequently use Linux, and when I'm at school I either fail or use a MAC > (kind of like being trapped between razor blades and a wad of C4), > I know more about the computers than most of the teachers at my school, > even the ones with degrees in computer science. Hmmm...Maybe you go to Dumbfuck State College (tm) or something. Read anything that has to do with the current state of affairs in computers and you'll see mention of it. -- *********************************************************** Brad Everman aka Deathdog, Mac programmer & Grammy-Winning Rap Artist "The goal to any basketball game is to outscore your opponent" ---Hubie Brown
