Dear MajorFreak,

I admit I was confused at first by your message.  However, br d has 
thoughtfully explained the true nature of the situation to me.

First of all, please let me say that I am flattered, of course.  Very 
flattered.  I had considered myself rather past my prime in that regard, 
and your attention comes as a bit of a surprise.

As much as it hurts me to say it, however, there can be no future 
between us.  These long-distance relationships seldom work out, 
MajorFreak, ane we would just end up hurting one another.  

Then there is the whole polygamy thing.  I'm not really sure how my wife 
would react, but something tells me her reaction would fall somewhat 
short of placid acceptance.  

All that aside, I've got a job to do.  Where I'm going you can't follow.   
What I've got to do you can't be any part of.  MajorFreak, I'm no good 
at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of 
three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.  
Someday you'll understand that.
