Finally bought the Interplay Anthology, and started playing Wasteland again (last time was back on the old C64...why did they change the intro?). Anyway, I've made it to the Sleeper Base, and went through Project Darwin and Finster's Brain to get Secpass 2 (or was it B?). Regardless, I finally opened the door to the armory on level 2 of the Sleeper Base, only to be confronted by a charming self-repairing crystal wall...and nothing I've tried seems to help in getting rid of it. Frankly I can't even remember whether I got through it the first time I played the game. Anyone have any suggestions? And a question about the super loot bags (if someone is willing to give a hint...) - does getting them require you to be particularly skilled at something? (If so, I expect I know what the somethings are; I'm just curious whether it's actually worth the effort to get good at them.) Thanks. Jeff Raven jar...@psuvm.psu.edu

Try bringing along about 5-6 rpg-7s, and having a character with demolitions "use" them on the wall...eventually you will blast a whole through.

Since someone already answered about the wall, I'll address this question. No, you do not need any particular skills to get the first two supre loot bags. Actually you do need Gambling for one of them. I am not sure what skills are needed to get the third Super loot bag, because no one would tell me where it is. So if you think you know where the third one is tell me please, so I can finally say I know where all three bags are. Happy Hunting. -- . o Arthur Dent c , `'#v-- " Do you know where your towel is? I think TNT or plastic explosives work fine (at least on the Apple II). It takes about 5 blasts and the wall shatters. :) Joshua Cantrell j...@rop.edu s...@crl.com
