Have kinda started playing it and I found this baby on an altar in the centre of a bunch of circular stones. My party members keep telling me to get him as fast as possible to Lady Tory. WHERE is Lady Tory? (I haven't bothered to write down any notes, just going by what I remember.) And is it absolutely necessary to follow a semi-linear path to finishing the game? Or can I wander around and eventually work up to finishing the game on my own path? -- David Kwan | I'm tired... s81...@aix2.uottawa.ca | I'm bored... University of Ottawa | Gimme a million bucks! =P

Didn't the Guardian's voice say something like "You're going the wrong way!" Don't worry - I did the same thing. Anyway, Lady Tory lives in Serpent's Hold. The harpies stole her baby and took it to their nest. >And is it absolutely necessary to follow a semi-linear path to finishing >the game? You will have to follow some semi-linear trails to beat it, but exploring never hurt. Nowhere near as bad as Ultima 8. /=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=\ | -=- Darren W. You should, I think, get a reward in experience points(BIG reward). As for the side plots. DO them they give you mucho experience points and help you gain levels quicker. BTW the side plots are not required to beat the game. To beat the game all you really need is 5 things. You could get them right now if you wanted to. However it would be much tougher early on in the game. Oh not so you don't do side quests but trying to get into the Fellowship is NECESSARY to beat the game. SO do Batlin's quests and follow Liz and Abe around Brittania! Good Luck! Greg Basso x93b...@wmich.edu

Serpent's Hold - at the bottom of the map near the Fellowship Isle. It may be a bug that you get these hints from your comrades before finding out that a baby is missing. And is it absolutely necessary to follow a semi-linear path to finishing the game? Or can I wander around and eventually work up to finishing the game on my own path? In the Black Gate it is not absolutely necessary, but it will take a long time. -- --Jeff Abramson ***** I don't speak for Intel Corp. ***** *P6* Design Team - MD6 jab...@ichips.intel.com Kinetic Dragon Intel Corporation, Hillsboro OR (503) 696-4784 -==(UDIC)==-

This way the player gets better acquainted with the notorious fellowship. Greg Basso x93b...@wmich.edu

That's a flag problem. Lady Tory lives in Serpent's Hold, anyway.

Well, eventually you will have to complete all the main quests, but no,
there is not very much linearity.
