I play a lesser known multiplayer online rpg called "Legends of Kesmai" and here is how this game deals with pkillers. Each time you kill another PC, whether intentionally or not, you will receive a ΒmarkΒ against your account. More than three such marks will result in your being locked out of the game! Killing another PC in self-defense does not incur you a mark. If someone has killed you and it was an accident, you may forgive them at any time using the forgive command. Forgiving a player removes the mark from their account. Marks expire over time. The more marks you have, the longer they take to expire. If you have one mark, it will expire in two weeks. If you have two marks, the first one will expire in four weeks, the second in an additional two, If you have three, the first will expire in six weeks and so on. If you have more than three, you must be forgiven to remove a mark. Somehow, with the foregoing rules in place, pkilling isn't very much of a problem in this game. Bob
