That's a ridiculously trite statement. Of course the people who aren't using it are "badmouthing" it; they aren't using it are because they don't like what it offers. Most of the people who /are/ using it are doing so because they actively made a choice to upgrade because they presumably like what they saw. But even that isn't true, because there are a number of people who have made the upgrade who find the OS unsatisfactory and are vocal about it as well. The number of people "forced" onto Windows 10 (because that is what came with their new computer) is vanishingly small at this point. I've been running Win10 Preview on a VM and on an older laptop since February and I have no intention of upgrading my primary machine to the new version (and the laptop is now back to Win7). Between the loss of control over my PC, the advertising, the spyware, the awful interface and the uncertain future of Windows becoming "software as a service" I've no intention of switching anytime soon. The lure of Dx12 just isn't enough to tempt me. In fact, Microsoft's antics with their OS might be enough to give up on the Windows upgrade path entirely. I'll just stick with Win7 until its no longer viable and then find a new alternative (be it desktop Linux, SteamOS, Android, MacOSX or whatever). My computer gaming library is rich enough already and my non-gaming needs do not have any particularly strenuous requirements. Moreso since there is a diminishing reward as graphics improve; it is becoming increasingly apparent that the graphical appeal of games has less to do with the number of polygons you can throw at the screen and more to do with the artistry of the developer. You like Windows 10, great. But to dismiss the concerns people have as simply "badmouthing" the OS is unfair. There are valid complaints about the system and the advantages of upgrading are few and - to many - do little to counterbalance these issues.
