There is a point in this game when one needs to immobilize a guard in order to move forward (on Raleigh's Walk). I am unable to see the guard. This is a known bug and according to the walkthrough at Just Adventure, the only way around this is to find someone with a savefile that completes the task. Does anyone have this to send me? If so, please post to rose...@wfubmc.edu Thanks, if you know of some other way around the problem, I'd be happy to hear this as well.

You can try the update video card drivers, or reducing video optimization too. You can also try the old standby of rebooting. I had the problem come and go.

If that doesn't work, I have an 80KB zip file of saves from Traitors Gate that I could email you.

It gave you plenty of time to spare - provided you knew exactly what to do. But in order to know what to do you had to repeatedly save, experiment, discover how to proceed, load save, complete the proper procedure, save again, rinse and repeat. This was the only way you could be assured of not running out of time near the end and having to replay the whole game if they wanted to complete it successfully. I remember reading a post in here from someone who had completed almost the whole game - and done it without help from a walkthorugh - but who ran out of time just before the end of the game. Some reward for completing that difficult thing on your own. :p

I have ordered Syberia (on the recommendations of many here) and that should keep me going for a while (if it has the same difficulty level as TLJ I think I'll quite enjoy it). TLJ - despite its rather verbose cutscenes - is well lodged in my top five and it's going to take a real good'un to dislodge it. Even if you skipped the animation sequences between clicks, the game was made so they still had to load off the CD before they could be skipped. Moving around was like walking through molasses. > I have ordered Syberia (on the recommendations of many here) and that should > keep me going for a while (if it has the same difficulty level as TLJ I > think I'll quite enjoy it). The only time I really had to save and explore then reload was in the sewers. I got down there, made a map, and then once I had the entire sewer mapped I reloaded and went on with the game. I would save before I walked through a door or messed around with the cameras.... but I do that with any game that you can die or get captured. In fact, Traitors Gate 2 is coming out sometime in September (I confirmed this with DreamCatcher in an e-mail). I will make sure I buy part two!!! Steve

I'm playing TG now and I ran into this same problem, with not being able to see the soldier at Raleigh's Walk. Any advice as to how I can get beyond this without being able to see the soldier I'm suppose to shoot?
