The last system from them I had prior to the Wii-U was an N64 (which was great in its day). The Wii-U in its current form is a great little box as a retro-Nintendo title player (although I do wish it would double as a true portable), and meets my current need. As far as the next one, I'm not sure... if I want games that require powerful hardware, I have my PC for that. I guess if games for the NX are able to really do something with that power that other consoles aren't doing I might be interested, but I imagine it will simply open the doors to being a landing zone for yet another Call of Duty port or whatever, and that may actually turn out to work against them. If the next Nintendo console turns out to be just like an XBox or Playstation (basically an underpowered Intel based PC), then they will be judged by whether the Playstation gets 5 frames per second more or less in a given game by the same title. If it turns out to be based on some other proprietary architecture, they will run into some of the same problems the PS3 ran into.
