Yes, it is an interesting variation on the theme - and that alone makes it worth looking at - but honestly it wasn't that exciting a game. It is extremely light on narrative, setting and gameplay, so whatever your fancy, Journey isn't going to make a very filling meal. Journey is basically a Flash game with a bigger budget (not surprising given its developers's origins); a fun five-minute diversion where you can marvel briefly at the developer's ingenuity, but not really something that can maintain interest over the long term.
