'not available in game'
Often meaning still there just no more can be created, a lot are just
grey now.

Like so many things just not worth the space and having to remember to
use it. I leave many abilities off the bars or well off the main focus.
If it isn't main rotation buttons or the panic area it probably isn't
worth the time to find and click. Better to run to a nice safe res spot.
I also have really slow reactions and don't do manic marionette very
well plod click plod click plod plod plod graveyard.

No matter how hard I try to get rid of old stuff on AH the buy-low
packrat just keeps buying and I end up with more gold and more of what I
wanted to get rid of. If I really dislike someone I send them low level
items annonymously and free. I am sooooo evil.

The fastest way to find if you need something is to delete it, sure
enough you will find something that needs it within an hour. At least on
ah it is, GASP...cancel..cancel..cancelDAMNIT :-)

Hehe I've still got it on an alt too - can't actually remember which
one but I know I saw it going through a bank a few weeks back :-) One
of those things I always hand onto "just in case" - several of my
characters still have Really Sticky Glue as well, I really should just
use these things up, but when I know I can't get any more it always
feels a waste :-P

Have to cover the costs of someone who has kept putting them up for
years without a bite :-)
If wow was really concerned with the economy it would be a lot easier
with a longer AH time, or a AH request board.
Put up a request, anonymous so people can't just go outside, AH holds it
in escrow as it does now with bids, when filled the AH takes its cut.
That would be too simple.
Actually, is there any site for request per server like that?

I just vendored a bag full of 80 gems that somehow accumulated again,
including yet another stack of kings amber and a couple of stacks of orbs.

I collect these because people put them up for less than vendor, I am
doing them a favour by saving them losing their deposit and they don't
even know it :-) It is really hard to keep the packrat from clicking on
a guaranteed, if tiny, profit.
A sure bet is the one someone wants is the one I don't have at the
moment, and will have a stack next week.
All that valuable MkIII loot, vendor fodder in MkV.
All your legendaries will soon look like Betamax tapes :-)

Did they look for things like the blacksmith training projects or
research projects? I don't know if tailors have them.

I force myself to think, not always successfully

so would you buy it now for 100g ? :-)

That only works when people want everything now, which is nearly
everyone it seems.

When I had a skill to level I bought the mats ahead of time when low, if
there was a gap usually it just waited. Or I played the market on that
choke point having found it.
There is always something else to do, usually way too much to do so do
the fun stuff.

I don't usually gouge, usually I work on quantity at a price that
should sell from the warehouse. I put ti up and really hope never to see
that stack again. Even if they are all clones :-)

The other day someone was complaining a mat was 1k a stack. I pointed
out they could make a potential skillup for 5g with a cheap mat, 15-20g
a point at fresh green, less with vendor/de the result.
But they wanted something they imagined they could sell, in competition
with everyone else who made it with expensive mats.
So the problem wasn't the mat price but they imagined they were losing
virtual profit from the market they hoped to gouge :-)

Of course few people do the market, which is good for me. If everyone
was selling it means they have something to sell, which means there
would be nobody to sell to.
Our AH usually has around 30k objects I have maybe 500 up, about half
would be single gems etc, the rest would be 20 stacks. Rule of thumb I
don't do much below 10g, either stack or single, not for 2g potential
profita click.
About 2000 , rough guess, would be transmog pieces. The rest is
people putting 20 stacks up when only 3 or 4 would sell in 48 hours.
They drive each others prices down, and still put a lot up at the lower
prices. If anything the lower the price the more they dump.

So there aren't that many actually stockpiling and reselling.

I do quite a nice trade in seeing my 2-5 small stacks sell, lower
deposit = longer time, then asking if they want any more at 10% off for
a full stack. Saves work all round and often they will ask for other
stuff if levelling.

The thing that really ticks me off is the 1 copper undercut. Something
gouging at 50g, someone drops to 30g, they are the one setting the
price. The undercut would have been happy at the higher price and tells
me nothing about a stable point. The good thing is they will usually
follow you all the way down in an hour with large stacks against
1-stacks then just unzip the stack to whatever you want.

Given a choice I always take the higher price first. The price setter
shouldn't lose out their deposit, I see it as they gave me information.
The 1 copper just caused a fog.

Lol, good point :-) Given how ridiculously full my main's bags are,
I'll take note of that logic I think and have a clearout sometime!

All of my characters have full banks also. Blizzard has plans for giving
vanity/toy/quest items their own space in the expansion, similar to mounts
and pets. I hope it helps!

That'll be a huge help to me, at least, although I wish we could also
get the Diablo 3 transmog system, where you don't need to keep the
actual item to be able to use its appearance. Think I did hear some
talk of a 2nd void storage tab though, I do hope that happens, then at
least my bank will contain a few less random bits of armor/weapons and
partial sets (half of which I'll never actually use, but just keep
because I like them anyway...)
