By getting the >second barrack early, you're actually delaying the production of knights >(which is your main objective). Well, make your own judgement. I'm doing no such thing. I'm pumping from one rax while I'm getting the other, believe you me. And I'm also pumping non-stop as it is, from two rax, and that's barely enough... And I need to get the rax sooner or later anyway, before my castle arrives, so I might as well get it earlier when it's useful to have it (easier to protect against early-ish attacks when I can get reinforcements faster). With Orc, one barracks is enough, but with human, doing a melee build, the footmen are just too weak. >> And the point is that, with your build, the only sensible thing for me >> to do is to go heavy melee. Well if you die, I die (like Titanic, you >jump I jump)" *LOL* That sounds more like it... And anyway, it's not always as easy to retreat when your units (and hero) are surrounded by enemy melee units, and half of them gets killed by ranged attacks while fleeing. >> Bah. > >Whilst upgrading to castle, you can get 2~4 priest or 1~2 sorcerer for slow >but not autocast. Cast slow on units that deserve it. (Slow is really good >vs Orcs). Uh huh, so I'm supposed to buy 10 units and 4 upgrades from a single building? We better have all day then... And getting several arcane thingmagigs will interfere with my ability to crank out Knights... -- theobliviousbyers
