Sounds familiar...

Sounds okay.

Eh...Contrary to popular belief, I really don't have much gold to
stack until the very last couple of minutes before I start production
on the knights. Prior to the Castle, I'm pumping Footmen from two
barracks to stay alive, which is something I'm not letting you talk me
out of doing, since I basically have to provide melee for the both of
us (due to your build - not that there's anything wrong with it). Any
less than what I currently make and we'll be seriously fux0red.
Furthermore, I'll have to consecutively upgrade my HQ twice (to
Castle) and have lumber mill, blacksmith and a whole friggin'
metropolis of houses ready before even considering Knights. I might
also need some towers if early game sees a lot of worker harassment (I
can't afford to send my peons off to war every time an enemy hero
comes a-knocking).
And even if I somehow could come up with enough dough to warrant a
significant return donation once my Castle is up, I still won't be
able to produce as many Knights as fast as before, since the extra
expansion I usually go for enables me to maintain an extra barracks of
constant Knight training, something I doubt a medium gold donation
from you will enable me to do. :P

The whatporter?

Preferably while both of us are still alive...

Uh, a little bit of everything strategies won't work...Focus is
necessary, especially in team games. If you start building every
structure in the game to produce the ultimate mixed army, it will most
likely be a colossal waste of time and money...
I'm not sure what your line of reasoning is in this case...

Just setting the record straight. :P

Bah.

Dude, they were *in* my friggin' base. I started to run out of places
to retreat to...

Ah well, this hasn't gotten any easier to tell since the last post, I
see. :P
