quake two has an interesting feature dealing with jumps depending on how you are turning, what directions you are moving, and other various factors, you can jump: higher, farther faster, and around corners. this is where the jump server comes in. jump.azbok.com hosts a quake server devoted to exploiting these various jumps. there are already over 100 diffrent maps that various members of the quake community have created that make you use your creativity to come up with a way to get to the top/end. this is one of the greatest mods of all time, it works perfectly already, but improvements are being made all of the time, i've seen no server that gives it's players more control of whats going on. now it is possible to sign up, and according to how long you have been playing and what specific "tryout jumps" you can make, gain admin levels so that you can kick spamming pests and use a grappling hook to reach less experienced players and help them. this is one of the most original and intuitive mods ive ever seen. check it out at jump.azbok.com ---site and server
