A cool concept for QUAKE might be a "post-nuclear ( or holocost of some sort) war setting" where mutants and beasts run rampant. An environment that would allow the high-technology weapons and warriors of the future to battle the warriors and beasts of the past and beyond!!! Also, if this game is not going to have levels included but rather one HUGE world won't the game have to be sold in CD format. In saying this I mean in order for such huge worlds to be part of the game won't the massive memory have to be stored on CD? Or will these WORLDS be on SERVERS for multi-player games (although I believe the home user would require the same information regarding the environment in their QUAKE game)? thanks................... "what's that noise??? oh, oh the QUAKE is coming~~!!!!!

Depends on how 'big' the worlds are.. it doesn't matter if it's one big
map or a bunch of levels, it still uses the same amount of disk space.

Secondly, the bigger the world, the better. If 'dozens' of ppl are logged in to a Quake server, then they'll need the expanse for adventures or, more importantly, the room for deathmatches. Deathmatch is their 'first' priority. chris ch...@winternet.com irc: ratbert
