I recall driving along seeing a guy walking past a garbage can barrel and thinking, "I should shoot that barrel". Also in a restaurant, there was a large fan ceiling and I thought, "I got chopped up in that the other day ... wait, that was Quake." I'm still going through Quake in solo mode, and still marveling at the nostalgia factor. But with Fuhquake down, and QuakeWorld (through GameSpy) pretty much non-existent, are there any dependable eQuake servers? The front-end launcher doesn't give much info as to which server is active, and those few that I've gone in (because of my solo play focus) have been inactive too. Bill M.
