Yes, re-write the game to run under Windows 95 with its improved memory management. That way you can increase the table sizes without running into the 4Mb limit imposed by DOS 4GW. Sorry, that sounds a bit sarcastic. It wasn't really meant to be, but when you think how big the playing area is and how much is going on, it's amazing that the game has such a small footprint. Ant

Err... I think you misunderstood Anthony there Thim. You can't rewrite the game! He's not on about a patch or anything, that was a joke - reprogram the game better, so it makes use of all the resources available under Win95, because DOS4GW makes restrictions. If you feel you can write a Win95 version of TT feel free to do so... Yes, sorry. The point I was trying to make was that the as far as I am aware limit on the number of vehicles was not a quirky design decision. It was due to the limitations of the PC operating system in use when it was written. I'd, therefore, be very surprised if it was possible to hack an increase in the number of vehicles. It would need a re-write. Ant Chris Paterson wrote in message ... >Err... I think you misunderstood Anthony there Thim. You can't rewrite the >game!
