I meant no offence None taken. :) Actually, you made me count the times when I played the whole Doom1: First I played it on the PC-speaker twice (HMP and UV). Then I bought a Soundblaster card so I played it again 2 or 3 times. Then someone suggested all maps should be played starting with a pistol. Than again with 100% kills and secrets. Then I tried Nigthmare and gave up. :( Then a friend sugested we hook up our PC's with a null modem cable So we played it like 14 times. :) Then episode 4 came out so I played it again. Then I seem to recall playing it once, drunk after a party!?! :)) Then PRBoom/ZDoom came out. Then Classical Doom for Doom3 came out. :)) The same story happend with Doom2. I guess it's time I refresh my memory. -- coffe lumps are evil

Have fun. You'll probably find you remember it as you go along. A plan view of a map isn't as good a memory trigger as actually walking through the level again. Memory is a funny thing, I can play a level once and then not remember it at all in a year, or I can play a level a load of times then not touch it for ten years and it's still clear as a bell. -- http://rjy.org.uk/

But could you remember the exact map and name? ;) I couldn't I was
close! I knew it was episode one and a mid-level.
Man, I was a DOOMaholic. Hey! Three more days and DOOM will be 17 years
old! One more after that to be legal age. ;)

I played too much. I am a former DOOMaholic.

JDoom/Doomsday for me. I still have it, but haven't touched it for
ages. I wished I could find players to multiplay with. :(

YES! Awesome. I also love the tunes and other remixes.

It sounds like mine too. I played on dial-up with 9600/14.4k modem
speeds. Then came SirDOOM for 2+ players through/via MajorBBS software.
It was so radical even if it was slow. Then, I made DOOM 2 maps and mods
by myself and other people:

LOL. Did you check out the videos I recorded for both Da Kills and
J2DOOM mods. ;) Boy, we were silly back then. Hehe!
