There were others. G & G was the hardest fucking game to get through.
Every level was such a trial of new stuff. And then you had to go
through the shit you just FINALLY completed to get to the beginning of
the next level. It sucked!
But it rocked! - so you did it... Stupid blue demons!

Another no-save oldie that was impossible was Nova 9 (I don't remember
whether I played Stellar 7, the first one). I played the first level
(there are 9, duh) with another gamer buddy and we agreed it was
unplayable; too hard. About two months later I told him I was at level 4
and he called me a liar; and he meant it - it was that hard a game! He
could not conceive of anyone actually getting past the first level,
never mind what came to follow. He actually sat me down and made me
prove I could get through the first level. At level 7 I crapped out. I
got to the 8th level with the Electric Power guys, but on level 9 I
could never figure out what I was supposed to do, it was reverse gravity
and I strange hopping thing that killed in the first 10 seconds. I
regret never figuring that one out but it was H-A-R-D hard, and you had
to play it all the was through, so it became a nightmare. Has anyone
completed Nova 9?!!

Ooops, wrong newsgroup, ya newbies.
