Another bit of info that could be useful is how much energy each weapon
uses when you fire.  I know that flares use a lot.  Also, it could be
useful to know how the different difficulty levels effect damage levels.

Uberweapon?  Sounds nasty. ;-)

Another advantage is that the spreadfire can fire more rapidly than lasers.

Flares?  I was under the impression that Flares used one point of energy
each, and did one point of damage per...
