Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. I have Red Alert 2 and cannot
figure out how to make the chronosphere work when it has been built and
ready to go.How do you select what units to move and how to move them?
Thanks

The Chronosphere, when built and fully powered, gradually charges up. When it is ready you will be notified. Switch the sidebar to the defensive structures tab and you will see a button for every superweapon you have. To teleport vehicles (infantry will be simply killed), first you'll want to group them close together (you can chronoshift 9 at a time if they're all in a small square) then click on the chronoshift button in the sidebar. You should hear the words "select target". Click in the middle of the group of tanks you want to teleport. You should see a white curtain go over them. Now scroll to the destination and left-click. A second later, they'll be there. -- Tim "HeXetic" G. www.planetcnc.com "Bexar" <jazzy@ktc.com> wrote in message news:o01Wa.151$EM4.77100@news.uswest.net... > Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. It is possible (but you have to be pixel-perfect) to shift 16 vehicles. (16 prism tanks managed well WILL defeat a LOT of apocalyses). 2. You almost certainly want to chronoshift your vehicles a long way. You don't have to scroll. Having selected your vehicles to move, you can click on the small map to bring up your target area, THEN click where you want them to arrive. Remember to shift land vehicles to land and sea vehicles to sea ... unless they're enemy of course ... ;o) Neil A

I don't have the time to build that much, I chronoshift 5-6 but near the enemy Construction Yard and finish the job Also it is very usefull to chronoshift enemy troops in the water :)) > 2. As for the scrolling, I just wanted to keep it simple since it seemed like this guy must be very new at RA2/YR. It's been a while since I chronoshifted a pile of prisms. Mostly I do chrono other people's stuff - after chronoshifting one opponent's tank army into the lake, the next time the chronosphere was charged, he was prepared and scattered his troops. Unfortunately for him, he forgot about his Harriers and down into the water they went... It was a crushing blow since they were all double-veteran level as he'd been using them as his primary base defence late in a FFA game when nobody had much money. -- Tim "HeXetic" G. www.planetcnc.com
