C&C NOD last mission way too easy

Just finished the last NOD mission in about 1 hr, after taking
almost 5 hours on the last GDI mission. Even taking into the
account that the GDI mission slowed down when there were too many
infantry, this was a serious imbalance in the game.

[SPOILERS/ Strategy hints below]

In last NOD mission
1. The GDI hard hardly any troops and didn't produce more than a
few vehicles which were easily taken out by an obelisk.
2. The first base wasn't prortected by the advanced towers, so a
couple of artillery easily destroyed the turrets, and a stealth
tank could just waltz in.
3. The infantry didn't come out to attack the artillery while
they were blowing up the turrets.
4. The turrets didn't rebuild.
5. The boats don't shoot at infantry, so can be taken out by a
few rocket troops.
6. The helicopters aren't protected.
7. The second base (Left hand side) can be easily taken out by
landing some rocket troops and engineers at the back.
8. The third base can also be easily taken out by a couple
of helicopters round the back, with NO defensive turrets.
9. The troops in the top left hand corner just sit there.

All together, this wasn't a well put together scenario. I suspect
that whoever did the playtesting on this scenario didn't find the
combination above, but the terrain seem to be designed to let you
do that so the creator of the terrain must have known about the
problem.

The last GDI scenario was much more difficult :

1. First base was protected by obelisk, obelisk protected by SAM
sites and power stations protected by cliffs.
2. new obelisk and Hand get built mid game in old tiberium field.
3. turrets all over the place made exploration difficualt until I
had orcas to kill the turrets.
4. Large number of troops / vehicles attack your base until
stopped by sandbagging.

Anyone else get the same view ?

Admittedly I did the GDI scenarios first, and so the NOD missions
seemed easier after that, but it shouldn't have been so much.

I tend to disagree that the GDI last mission is imballanced in comparison to the last NOD. It took me a few mins shy of 2 hours to pound the last GDI mission.

********* SPOILER ***********

I simply secured that first clear spot
	Built a few rocket towers
Sent over a APC full of ENG's to the first NOD base
Captured: Airpad, Power, Hand of Nod.
	Build Rocket Turrets there
	Built Stealth Tanks
	Ran Tanks to his temple
	Shot Temple apart
Used Ion Gun to pound his ADV Power to oblivion
Paved over the rest with mamoth tanks (5) and ORCAs (5)

Tada.... I guess I found a winning combination...

I was helped a *hell* of a lot on the last GDI mission by the fact that NOD
produced loads of vehicles/soldiers - so much so that when the two
NOD harvesters tried to get back into the base they jammed up the
entrance. They couldn't return to deliver their cargo, soldiers and
vehicles couldn't get out, so the rest of the mission was fairly easy.

I agree absolutely. It was waaaaaaaaay to easy to complete the NOD last mission.

I agree. Spoilers ahead for those who haven't played the final mission.

- GDI never uses ION beam (of course, I couldn't use NUKE, either, but...)

- GDI never really attacked me unless I attacked first. When I got my
second contruction yard, all of these GDI forces just sat next to me
as I helplessly built my second base. A huge GDI force, including engineers,
just sat there doing NOTHING until I built an oblisk right next to them.
Then they fought back and blew away the oblisk, but then they did nothing
as I build a SECOND oblisk!

- After I established a second base and built up some forces, I took over
the small GDI "base" in the middle of the map that had two silos. Cool,
I thought, free money (well, $500 free money). Turns out I didn't know
how good this deal was going to be for me. After I sold the silos, the
computer BUILT NEW ONES! IN THE SAME PLACE! Each time I was clearing
over $2000 for these silos and the tiberium in them.

And the computer kept rebuilding them!

This explains why the computer never attacked, it was giving all
  it's money to me.

- Lastly, I found another mini "base" in the SE corner with contruction yard.
Three Medium tanks blow away the single guard tower, and now I can build GDI
stuff. I've got tons of money from my UNMOLESTED harvesters, not to mention
the "donations" GDI is giving me (see above). Guess what I build: Mammoth
  tanks and attack helicopters.

Not much of a battle after that. The GDI bases were practically deserted.

If I had been able to use the temple's nukes, it would have been even
easier.

Well I got nailed three times in my game, all three times it was a oblisks

This is true, I watched as several rocket lanchers and such just sat next
to my base as I built the need items.. then I built a oblisk 2 squares
away from the nearest trouble.. then lured them in with infantry, easy
to trash them all. From that point on it was a cake walk.

I think it was just as easy as the last GDI mission, just took lest time
but needed better planing.

I can't find the crates for build Nuke. Can you explain me where
I can find the crates?
