I agree. Spoilers ahead for those who haven't played the final mission. - GDI never uses ION beam (of course, I couldn't use NUKE, either, but...) - GDI never really attacked me unless I attacked first. When I got my second contruction yard, all of these GDI forces just sat next to me as I helplessly built my second base. A huge GDI force, including engineers, just sat there doing NOTHING until I built an oblisk right next to them. Then they fought back and blew away the oblisk, but then they did nothing as I build a SECOND oblisk! - After I established a second base and built up some forces, I took over the small GDI "base" in the middle of the map that had two silos. Cool, I thought, free money (well, $500 free money). Turns out I didn't know how good this deal was going to be for me. After I sold the silos, the computer BUILT NEW ONES! IN THE SAME PLACE! Each time I was clearing over $2000 for these silos and the tiberium in them. And the computer kept rebuilding them! This explains why the computer never attacked, it was giving all it's money to me. - Lastly, I found another mini "base" in the SE corner with contruction yard. Three Medium tanks blow away the single guard tower, and now I can build GDI stuff. I've got tons of money from my UNMOLESTED harvesters, not to mention the "donations" GDI is giving me (see above). Guess what I build: Mammoth tanks and attack helicopters. Not much of a battle after that. The GDI bases were practically deserted. If I had been able to use the temple's nukes, it would have been even easier. --kevin
