Well, when I was working in the users services group at Tulane I supported many first time users on an OS called MUSIC, it has a syntax and command language somewhat like a baby JCL. New users were taking their very first COBOL class on this system and would sometimes forget or get mixed up on where the object file should get put after compiling the program. On a fairly regular basis it got put right on top of the source, (dont need that any more right? :-) I ended up throwing together a REXX program to remove the listing stuff and the xref tables to recover the source for these students. I was lucky and a little embarassed to have to use my own utility to recover my source the next semester when I took the COBOL class. --Wendel -- --Wendel Bordelon Cray...@sugar.hackercorp.com Fly LTA... airports, airports we dont need no stinking airports!
