Now *that* was an OS ahead of Actually, makes me think about the A3000/UX, I always wanted to see one of them. They would be cool. : running the regular MacOS, but with a login dialog box (with each user : having his own personalized set of extensions, etc.) That's actually a very simple thing to do on Amiga, too. Just put muFS on your machine, and append to the configdir/.profile if exists $Home/.sys assign ROOTSYS: SYS: assign SYS: $Home/.sys assign SYS: ROOTSYS: ADD endif Now, for every user make $Home/.sys/s , .sys/c , sys/libs sys/classes, and so on. Don't forget to reassign C: LIBS: etc as well, personally I allow auto-reassign of s: and envarc: and the rest is done with programs like muBackdrop, etc... all my additions to C: and LIBS: are kept on my work partition, the original libraries and commands are left alone. -- ******** KYZER ******** Stuart Caie, undergraduate of Aberdeen University Homepage: http://www.abdn.ac.uk/~u13sac | My opinions aren't those of Aberdeen Adamant: telnet 130.83.9.19 port 4711 | University or AUCC, thankfully. **** Email: u13...@abdn.ac.uk ky...@hotmail.com ky...@4u.net | 100% Amiga, always.
