U7 will work with Smartdrv.exe (dos 6.0) version which AUTOMATICALLY loads
high when you use himem.sys and dos=high, umb. The umb command lets
smartdrv find upper memory. Smartdrv can be installed from the config.sys
file (device=c:\dos\smartdrv.exe 1024) and loads high with "double
buffering" enabled (a 2k buffer is loaded low). This ALWAYS works for me.
Smartdrv can also be loaded high from autoexec.bat (c:\dos\smartdrv.exe
1024) and sometimes loads itself high automatically when dos=umb is enabled.

Mouse.sys (versions 8.0 and 8.1 ONLY; not 8.2 which comes with dos6.0)
also loads itself high (in the A20 area) with the /u switch. In your
config.sys use "device=c:\dos\mouse.sys /u" to get an automatic high load
from the mouse.

The beauty of these 2 programs is that you don't need a expanded memory
manager (like QEMM oe EMM386.SYS) to get high loads; and U7 and U7.5
prohibit their use. This way I get plenty of low memory!!
