U7 P2 & cache

Seeing that a few people have asked about running U7 with stacker,
I'll join in the fun and ask something similar: Namely, the manual
recommends running the game with a disk cache, and it sure seems like
this would be beneficial from the way it is always accessing the
drive. But, of course, since I had to remove the emm I can't load a
cache and have enough ram to run the game! (Normally I use ncache and
it happily loads into high memory with qemm)

Is there any workaround, or was Origin on drugs when they suggested
this? Seems to be the same problem with the stacker people.

Thanks,
