CoE3 is about to release. Its by the same developers (Illwinter) that 
created the Dominions games. Dominions 3 is still going strong and being 
played by people daily who have had it for 5 years.

which talk about the game in great detail. Its not a hidden beta-testing 
(no NDA) so any question can be answered. There are also screenshots and a 
video available. And already two AARs by beta testers.

This is a much lighter game than Dominions 3. The AI is great. There is 
much less micromanagement and the turns go much quicker. I think it will be 
a favorite blitz style game for IRC channels or Chat rooms. It is also much 
more fun in Solo play than Dom3.

So far all the buzz seems good. The Beta testers, the accidental beta 
testers from an early release (fixed now), and of course the Illwinter 
fans.

It might be only a niche group and dedicated game sites but if you look you 
can find a crowd eager to get Illwinters next strategy game. (if you have 
never played an Illwinter game then dont bother looking. Its not impressive 
on the surface)
