If you want a piece of advice - stay away from pvp if you want to avoid frustration (at least till you are level 40 and geared up or patches arrive...). WD

Takes a lot of practice to get ready for multiplayer. Question. Is this setting broken? OPTIONS -- UI OPTIONS -- Find Hotkeys Snap to Unit When I uncheck that and then do find idle worker "V", it changes the view anyway. Doing a little research, I see complaints about the view being changed, but I don't see any comments about that setting. Question. Is the Defense of Crete ad-on important for multiplayer? Does it raise your level, or is it just practice? Thanks. -- > > WD >

I keep it checked to see where the workers are so I never noticed before. >Question. Is the Defense of Crete ad-on important for multiplayer? >Does it raise your level, or is it just practice? It isnt important for multiplayer per se, but is more fun if you do it in coop. You get experience so it will raise your level if you are under 40. It is a good practice for some of the high level quests, especially if you do them in elite or legendary mode but not at all essentiell. Try the demo mode to see if you like it. WD

Many players including myself usually want to use the idle worker for something that is in view. I don't see a control that returns the view to the prior location, either. I really need that function. Either to avoid changing the view when selecting an idle worker, or at least a key to return the view to the prior view after selecting an idle worker. But I get no reply at all on their forum. Would be useful to know when that bug is going to be fixed. Apparently Age of Empires Online people just don't want to talk about it. Thanks for the effort. -- > >>Question. Maybe behaviour for workers is intended, thats why I said it *could* be by design. >Many players including myself usually want to use the idle worker >for something that is in view. This option was asked for for a long time, along with a possibility to get back to 'normal' view if you have camera rotation enabled... >I really need that function. Asking in game if one of the mods is around is probably a better option, Ryz0n for example is quite helpful and should at least know if its a bug or not. WD
