I'd like to write a very simple little mod to include console
settings, so that they don't have to be entered manually at the start
of game. If successful, mine will be for multiplayer games, it will
only allow modifications to stuff like the user interface that doesn't
affect gameplay. 

I will put my notes here in this thread, since they're very easy to
find later. 

Apparently the code will include stuff like this:

ConExecute("cam_nearzoom 2"). 

ConExecute from the User side if it's to be UI only. 
SimConExecute from the Sim side if all network clients should execute
it simultaneously.

Now on to finding the form/syntax for an SCD file.
