Why just PC games? Because PC Plank has this very convenient set of "flexible" principles. Just the same as any other raving loon. Not only did she used to pirate computer games, she also uses a pirated copy of Windows XP on "moral grounds". After all, how could she not? She either refutes Product Activation and turns her back on Windows and modern gaming on the PC. Or she buys and activates a legal copy of Windows, making her a part of the very problem that she says she fights. She won't do either so she uses a pirated version instead. According to her, everybody else should boycott Steam and miss out on the delights of HL2 etc, yet she's not willing to do the same herself when it comes to Windows. According to her, pirating games is a deadly sin, yet very recently she said in csipcga that she has no problem with people pirating their OS. She also openly promotes the use of tools to circumvent copy protection. Tools that are blatantly a result of endeavors of people from the Warez scene. Six million ways to be a screaming hypocrite, choose one. For all we know she's against copy protection because she still pirates and sells games. It would explain why she buys games solely on the strength of the fact that they don't have any. It would explain why she is so against the second hand market. If people can buy a genuine game second hand they won't go to her for those "special" copies she can make unless she sells them much cheaper. It might also explain why she gets apoplectic about Steam. It's games might be crackable but I bet they make for some piss poor copying for sales purposes. -- Rob
