1) If you're running it with two screens you *NEED* a scrollwheel
mouse--there appears to be no other way to zoom/unzoom the second
screen. It's a lot easier even on the main screen.

2) The comments about spending a lot of time with it zoomed so far
out that units are only dots seems quite accurate. Much of the eye
candy is wasted but it's still a good game anyway.

3) Beware of pathfinding problems. It looks like rather than slowing
down when it gets stuck with pathfinding they took a different
approach--quit trying. I sent a large force to a distant location and
there was a mountain range that forced them to walk in a big bow shape
rather than straight. Virtually every unit of mine came to a halt
until I figured out what was up.

4) In the campaign, save before competing an objective. Sometimes
the result is the map will be expanded exposing new threats that you
are in no shape to deal with. (Spoiler examples below)

5) It's got unit limits that can be annoying at times.

6) In UEF 5 I encountered a very deadly ghost. I never could see or
fire upon the ghost even when I tramped through the spot it was firing
from. It killed half my force before I managed to run away.

UEF mission 6:

Have nuke defenses up before you grab the black sun component. The
map expands to reveal a base to the southeast and it's got nuke
launchers.

Be prepared to resist a ground attack when you smash this base. The
map expands to the north and the enemy troops are right there. I
wasn't ready--I saw the army and went "Oh, shit!" and immediately
fired a nuke dangerously close to my own base--and only blew up the
rear part of the invaders.
