I Need HELP!!!!! 

I'm playing the Falcons and I'm stuck on the level Bronze Anvil.

This level, starts you off in a Canyon.  You are ordered to inspect and
destroy all staff vehicals while they are on tring to reach their pick-up
zone.  

The other objective is to inspect and destroy all the "Kelchi(?)" mechs.

I can't complete this mission.  I can destroy all the staff cars, and 
the voice says that you have completed a primary mission.  How do I get
off this mission?  If I destroy one of the mechs toward the end of the
mission, I fail the mission.  

Please tell me how to beat this mission.  Anyone?
