For those of you interested in Alpha Centauri...

Firaxis Games would like to invite everyone to check out our new website

dedicated to the upcoming Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri at
http://www.alphacentauri.com.

Among the cool things on the site, we’ve got an episodic story that
tells the tale of what happened on the United Nations mission to Alpha
Centauri and the splintering of the crew into the seven factions
featured in the game.

We’ll be rolling out a new chapter once or twice a week; the story will
end at Planetfall, when each faction heads to Planet to pursue their
vision for the new world (and the demo appears on the web site!). You
can also sign up for the crew of the U.N.S. Unity and possibly appear in

the story or join a faction as the ship’s crew descends into infighting
and chaos.

We also have Postcards featuring various planetary scenes to send to
your friends, an active forum, screen backgrounds to download, a feature

list and gallery of art from the game (including screenshots), and
designer notes from Brian Reynolds.

Check it out!
