Only if (a big if) MS upgrades NT's lousy Dos emulation (for the record, 
NT cannot run Dos Doom as it is, though it supposedly can run win32 Doom, 
although it has not been released yet.  Pitiful really, it still being 
unreleased over a year after the original was released, and after it has 
lost its appeal to most [the same goes for the OS/2 version])

Hah, hah.  Because OS/2 for the PowerPC is not finished yet.  Because the 
original was not microkernel based, requiring a larger amount of work in 
the port.
