Interesting that there is absolutely no mention of that on the site that I could find. Explains the lack of screenshots I guess.

if the game was in 3d, and could be downloaded as a client, than sure i would try it. however, its just another one of those pointless browser games where it make pretends you that you are in an environment. i guess large majority of game programmers don't have much artistic talents do they? ------------------------------ http://face.c-o.in/

Is "stupider" a word? If it isn't, then it probably can't be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Apparently, the SciFi Channel over here is showing the new "Dr. Who" series. The other day I caught the last 10 minutes of an episode, and I'm still finding it difficult to get used to the idea of "Dr. Who" with actual special effects. Has anyone heard from br d? Not to be indelicate, but I was curious to hear his thoughts on the, err, W**** C**. But maybe he still needs a little more time? Bret

I don't > think it's ever gone off the air in the U.K. has it? Yes it did, after 27 seasons (sometime in the 80's, when Sylvester McCoy was the Doctor). There was a TV movie produced by Fox, in 1996 IIRC, which started Paul McGann as the Doctor. That was the first new piece of "Doctor Who" in a decade or so. (not counting books and audio series). It just started back up again last year on the BBC, with a new Doctor (Christopher Eccelston). He was already replaced a year later by David Tennant, who is the current Doctor. It's going pretty strong and has been commisioned for a new series (the 3rd of the comeback) next year. SCI-FI has only shown the first comeback season, the 2005 season with Eccelston. But they will probably pick up the next series that just finished showing in the UK about 2 weeks ago. You can see more about the new series on the official BBC site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/

True, but there have been re-runs of the old episodes on Sky Gold for as long as I can remember so it may not have been off the air in some form or another at all.

Oh, I misunderstood the difference there.. between being taken off the air as in being cancled, and being taken off as in not showing at all, even re-runs. I see what you mean.

close guess but thats not it. jumpgate used to be a descent mmo back in 2002. until when the episode 2 patch was released, it seem to lost a lot of charm with the prime playerbase. the prime playerbase was like 200+ online pilots on peak hours. that was very descent for an mmo gamer like me but today it's not like that anymore. if there was a game like this and had more than 100 players online, that would make my day but sadly the majority of the playerbase have such a short attention span as long as that game is not seen as on a banner ad.
