Will someone please start a flamewar about Derek Smart?

I'm getting paranoid that I might have accidentally mixed some asbestos in with my DDT and I need something to take my mind off it. Lemming -- Curiosity *may* have killed Schrodinger's cat.

It's a natural progression from top-posting wherein my content not only appears physically before the post to which I am responding, it also appears chronologically before the post to which I will have responded. To wit, the above "No it isn't" has been a response to some subsequent post that will have been appearing. And thanks for the suggestion -- these DDT/asbestos/ginger ale slammers are freaming hoopy snark.)

I didn't think it was possible but the flamewar has been won by the forces of truth. I know you're saying "Bill, you stupid piece of crap, a flamewar can't be won, it can only be lost." Well, you're right, Lemming, I am a stupid piece of crap. However, you are forgetting the statute of limitations rule. That rule says that if one party in the flamewar remains in the lost state for at least 100 consecutive months then the other side can declare victory. Since the statute of limitations is well expired, I hereby declare the flamewar won. BTW Lemming, nice try in calling me a stupid piece of crap but, you should know by know that I only engage in flamewars when the truth is being maligned.

Wow. This actually brought me out of my "whole." So here I stand, by sheer happenstance and wild probability, to witness: THE END. Like seeing the "one ring to rule them all" that's been throw into the fires of Hades... it's over. All the years of bile and buffoonery. Over. Umm, irrevocably over. Right? Never to return, over. Right? I mean over, over. Right? I mean dead as a Parrot that was nailed to his perch in a Cheese Shop dead... over, kinda' thingy. Right? Well. Good then... what's for lunch? We try to get together as often as possible but it's not easy because we are both so successful and rich and we have many commitments. We've had many great times laughing at posts by idiots like Huffman and Sorenson and we enjoy looking down on everyone here whilst sharing our superior intellect. Basically we both agree that everybody who ever posted in space-sim - apart from ourselves - is a completely worthless wanker. We rarely bother to post here because you are all twats. br d and d r k.

That's a cunning ploy, I'll grant you Bill, and it would have worked, too, if it hadn't been for Nick the FBI man. Nick commissioned a Freight Train with your name on it - and the names of all those other detractors - and it's hurtling down the tracks as I write this, gaining speed all the time.
