I am quite honoured to hear from you btw :) Do you think Derek Smart is realy beliving in his work or is he just the plain and simple FRAUD ? Start of Huffman response. There's no doubt in my mind that he really believes in his game. An NPD has a very weak to non-existent ego. They compensate for this by having a super over-bearing super-ego or id. That's why he acts like a 2 year old because that's the way two year olds are before the ego develops. They also compensate for it by external means, primarily getting narcissistic supply from others, e.g., usually complements, ideally worship. I think that Derek's game is a primary source of narcissistic supply for him. So saying anything negative about his game is like insulting him personally and vice versa, praising his game is a super shot of narcissistic supply.

He's like the homeless guy you see on the corner with his pants pulled down, masturbating and defecating at the same time. How can you NOT ignore that? He either said exactly the opposite of what he intended or is trying to cover his ass. (asterisked words are bolded on forum post). The guy denied many times he was Ice Lord, very credibly I might add. In that statement Derek accuses him of denying that he is NOT Ice Lord. Whatta fuck.

Read that thread. He demands to access the supposed pirate's network to prove he is a pirate yet he also says he already has irrefutable evidence to make the accusation in the first place. All this in a thread where Derek rambles on about complaining about "circular arguments" numerous times. I think this proves Mr. Huffman's theory about Derek's personality disorder. Hard to believe Derek hasn't been assassinated in real life.

Derek probably has his lawyers reading > various sites like this everyday. Lol.Thats the reason why his game looks so low-budget ... IT IS LOW BUDGET ! (he spends his money on his lawyers :) ) Originally posted by Michael Teplitsky: quote: Originally posted by Derek Smart [3000AD]: You know what? Fine. If Mike agrees to give me 10 mins remote access to both of his computers (including the one not networked), I can prove it. I could care less if he reformats his HDD or not. Derek Smart reply: "So, there's the gauntlet. Your move." LOL, what a clown, this is hysterical!!! =)))) This is the perfect example how he is "assuring" himself of a virtual-non-failure of his statemets. He can ask for a thing,he knows he won't get.But if he does he can say something like : "your other network machine was not connected in your LAN" or even better "You erased your files completely before i inspected this". The most "fascinating" this is,he is acting like a Judge or something... even though he has a fake PHD, his attitude is as if his "experties" has no boundaries (no boundaries: in BC3K style of having no boundaries of plain fun ... NOT!). He must realise that some things are just not possible and would be best if he just shuts his mouth ,or even better, lets us have his pc for 10 minutes on the grounds for STUPIDITY SUSPICIONS in criminal amplitudes. Please, someone, explain to me ,why the law of nature keeps on showing he is a weak-lier but he still refuses to accept it ? This is the reply from the person that Derek Smart challenged with the "GIVE ME YOUR PC" request: "Of course, dear Derek, of course! You can come to my house, use my computer, screw my sister and overall do whatever you want. In fact feel free to do it whenever you so desire. I’ll make you an extra key and mail it to you. I have no interest in your sister. If you want me to prove (or disprove) once and for all that you are/not Ice Lord, I just need 10 mins on your computer. Nothing more. Nothing less." hehe, this was a good answer... but Taco Commander is a master of lies and even knows how to bend a Coke machine with his mind - this is serious stuff people :) Now mr. Derek tryes another approach: "Apart from the fact that your name and details are part of a watch list (yes, I have access to it) is not proof enough. Like any forensics investigator who - in any legal case - would be called upon to prove it, they can't do it without access to your computers. This is why the first step a lawyer (in the case of a civil suit) or the govt. (in the case of an FBI investigation) would take is to confiscate all your computers and take them to a lab. I don't need to do any of that. I just need ten minutes of remote terminal access. So, put up or shut up." The best way to shut him up is by complying to his "call" or to make him a counter-offer. This man has psychosis simptoms or even Schizoid tendencies... (not a professional opinion, mind you). Maybe he has some strange type of TOURETTE's syndrome, since he blabbers things that make NO SENSE whatsoever. If not me, others could help him to realise the truth. WHY did he put his PHD signature on his profile again??? Is he a masochist ,truly i wanna know ... I will try a telepathic connection with his mind,to come and see this posts we made :) We are making history people! :D lol -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/

Which is odd, because the US had 'section 8' which was a discharge from military service on mental health grounds, referred to by troops as being 'sectioned'. IIRC it had something to do with Derek bad mouthing someone and then later denying it. Derek of course threatening legal destruction and at the same time demanding proof. When the ICQ Log were produced that provided the proof then Derek threatening more legal apocolypse and demanding proof that the logs were not modified just to make him look like a liar. It must have been WCIV that had the actors instead of the wonderful animation cut scenes. I also apologize to the Wild llama Don who in that case I'm sure is not really evil and only disembowels deserving people.

However, around here a little evil can go a very long way. Kind of like in "Time Bandits." I will now commence skulking behind my invisible barrier. <invisible barrier>

Who would support such a pile of garbage coded together? Btw, does anyone know if he did some "thesis" for his AI Neural Net ? If the game had AI, there would be some traffic buzzing arround ... i think he made a "random" line in the code, then bragging about as if this was intentional.I remember when there was an error in the game (a base dissapeared),he bragged it was his AI that removed it,because the base was a "threat" or something like that... thats just ridiculous! An IDIOT who - like most - just spouts the first rubbish that comes to mind. I use Starforce ProActive. It is specifically designed for e-commerce games and has NOTHING to do with the CD-ROM protection (which requires special hardware at the CD-ROM replicators) used in games that DO use a CD-ROM based protection scheme. All ProActive does is asks you to enter a validation code and is NO different from the scheme I use for my own multiplayer validation. The ONLY reason I chose StarForce for this single player auth method (instead of using the same version I have to mp), is so that I don't have to babysit the servers and because StarForce already have the infrastructure to support online or offline activation. I don't have the manpower nor resources to do that. EVERY single e-commerce game has some form of DRM protection. I have implemented no less than five for UCAWA and UCG. These include StarForce ProActive for BMT and other sites that don't offer downloads. Software Passport (previously Armadillo before DR bought the company) for Digital River sites. StarForce ProActive for www.boonty.com. ActiveMark for www.trymedia.com and yet another proprietary scheme for sites that are based on www.streamtheory.com. Even Turner's www.gametap.com service, which uses Exent's technology (which was just signed on by Microsoft as well), has their own DRM scheme. quote: "I'll keep my money." Taco Commander replies: Your loss. See if I care. Now get the hell off my site. You've been perma-banned for being a stupid idiot. OMFG :) This is awesome... he is getting worse! Sorry peeps, but yoiu should see this CRAP!!!! "I already said that I'm pretty flexible in assigning CD-Keys. I will know who the abusers are. For example, Teknocack Prime , in a span of nine days, used up two unique CD-KEYs (four activations). The other day, he sent email to tech support asking for - yet another one - because this time, his motherboard got hosed. Naturally, he's not getting another one ANYTIME soon; even though he offered to pay for it. The problem with activations is that if you give out too many, then you find that people can install the game on more than one computer. And each time they use up an activation, I can access the server and take a look at the key to see how/when and from what IP it was activated. This is one of the criteria I use for assigning new keys. As I said before, after maybe six months or so, I will issue a patch which does away with the activation key or uses a less stringent HW test for invalidating a key. Even Valve charge ($10 I think) for a new STEAM key. There are TONS and TONS of products (not just games) online which use CD-KEYs etc and they work just fine. We're not yet setup to accept payments for new keys, but I'm going to have that setup next week. But I'm going to be charging $19.99 for each new CD-KEY issued to an abuser. That is still cheaper than buying a new copy of the game." If you activate your UC copy more than 2 times in 1 week, you wont get another CD-key... just because this stupid ass ,called MR SMART, is thinking you are ABUSING (just in what degree is he considering something an ABUSE???).This is a RIPOFF!!! He made a new excuse to pay him for a crappy game! I mean, this is plainly stupid! "Nobody gets banned for doing silly things. If we did that, we wouldn't have anyone to make fun of." <-- this is what Derek Smart said on his forums... my god, Hufman was right - he truly IS a pathological liar. Go to his forums and search for STARFORCE under the Technical Support forum... you'll get some "nice" stuff about his scheme... this is a trick to get more money.HE said that he will do it for 6 months or so ... why not cancell it now if he is "such a nice guy" as he says ?! :) WTF,its obvious he just wants to trick people - he convinced himself to do the right thing ,that's why he lies so abundantly. This reminds me of a con-artist in Italy (they have regular shows in wich the con artist or "tricksters" get exposed live on tv). Geez,he became a Cyber Stalin ... Mr. Smart implemented a classical SIM Engine at the heart of his game. Since he had zero academic training in computer science, he mistook his own SIM Engine as an AI Neural Net. He claims to have done a thesis but it is very doubtful that his claim is true.

I hope you did'nt found this out by your experience :D No but apart from the jokes, Dr. Smarties was a bit interesting regarding his AI.But then it was obvious he totaly overspun'd it ... if he would actualy invest in this, he COULD (and i repeat it: COULD) do something constructive about it.At least this would be truly Smart ,more than being owned at starforce and avault forums.
