Forgive me if this problem has been rasied earlier - I am new to this
newsgroup

I got Privateer 2 today and have two problems with it. Does anyone know of
any solution?

a. Firstly, it keeps locking up after a space flight and when you approach
a planet to land at. It stops at about the point where the "You are getting
too close" audio message would start.

b. Its runs too quickly on my Pentium II 300, and the combat scenes are
almost unplayable. For instance, after a jump it charges up ready for the
next jump in about 1 second. My old DOS version used to take 10 times as
long. The combat has speeded up by a similar amount. Does anyone know of a
way to slow the program down?

Many thanks,
