For fans of the series or someone having even watched it a few times, I'm sure this film was great, but judged as a film on it's own, and not simply another, longer episode, it was mediocre at best. Character development was very weak, especially with the brown haired girl that showed up near the middle of the film. Why was she even there? A lot of the one liners were quite painful as well, again, those of you that saw the show had some character arc/development context to fit those one liners into, but the to the rest of the folks phrases like "I aim to misbehave" and the leaf in the wind stuff was shockingly cheesy. You knew you were supposed to feel some emotion when the pilot dude died, but you didn't, because the character dev in the film just wasn't there.
