Do have a care . I tried this fairly recently on the strength of the earlier
games reputations.
Its awful...really dreadful

"Adrenaline Vault;
The extremely behind-the-times graphics, frustrating interface and game
mechanics, and lacklustre plot all lead to a gaming experience that's more
tedium than it's worth."

VI or VII perhaps ?
A Bad Bunny might not have to look to far to find a 'free' (cough) copy.

How long did you play it? <links omitted> As I told already I played it two times and personally consider it true and decent M&M entry that kept tongue-in-the-cheek spirit of the series. Major difference it was story-driven so a bit linear, though still you could go almost anywhere, like on the first island (tutorial not counting) you could sneak into high level castle and steal (if lucky) some decent loot. Puzzles, typical mockery were there. Graphic wise what 3D game of those times was not ugly? With rare exceptions they all were. BTW M&M6 was bashed for its graphics immediately, so what? Thanks to 3DO the game was not polished, and there were rough angles. (TELP unofficial patch is a must, of course) But if one is ready to put a little effort into initial phase of this game, he/she will not be disappointed (most probably). If I sound rude - my apologies, I do not mean to. Yet I will keep defending this game as "last of mohicans" of gone era. %-) -- Andrew Rybenkov

We are talking about the same M&M IX ? I bow to your much greater experience playing this. I started it 2 or three times over the years & admittedly never got very far before feeling driven away. @@@mouse@@@

Well yes, the game starts very slow, but further on there are drama and plot twists (along with typical parody). It is not P:Torment naturally yet for a M&M it is good. IIRC one of your company should be skilled in Perception otherway you will get stuck in game (you will not find some secret door). -- Andrew Rybenkov
