Well I like the interface of U7.5 very much. But a few things could be improved.
1) When I'm in a dungeon why can I see sections that are totally unaccessable
from my current position? Allthough in a few situations this is very helpfull to
see which enemy comes next it's a bit unrealistic and a step back in opposit to
U5.
2) Why not letting the avatar break wooden doors if he wants? If the door is
special it could be metal improved.
3) A special container for keys and perhaps a possibility to label them because if
you have 4 golden keys which look all the same it gets very bordom to try them
every time you want to open a door.
4) Esspecially containers of U7 are very often unorganized as hell.
5) A real parser for communications (Perhaps a cheat like in U6 :-) with Iolo)
6) Well in U7.5 I have the feeling that the avatar is a little bit sleepy in combat
while all other characters work like real experts in a turbo mode :-).
7) I'd like to have a bigger country. The current landscape is to small in my
opinion to put that much cities upon. Anyway more landscape would mean
more place for dungeon entries.
8) What about a dungeon editor for additional selfmade adventures if the main
task is solved? This means a real adventuring system and not a single adventure.
9) Next time I don't want to save Britannia again. What about different tasks like
rescuing a princess, supporting LB in a war (with spies, castles and large
armies), discovering ancient cities with great treasure and a lot of secrets.
Perhaps it would be possible to place several smaller games in the
adventurers paradise (-> 8) and not to have only one subject that starts and
ends the game when solved.
Perhaps a more detailed experience system will be nessecary for this type of
game while character not only gain experience but learn to use a special thing
or forget about it's usage. This would prevent from getting a party of unbeatable
superheros to be thrown in the next adventure.
Just a few thoughts.
Bye Ove.
