Definitely C++. Object oriented programming goes hand in hand with
RPGs. Items, structures, characters, etc. can all be defined as
objects, with each method performing an action either by or on
that object. Very sweet.

We programmed WarWizard 1 in C because it was developed first on the
Amiga, and at that time there was no C++ compiler. Then we ported
it to the PC, using Watcom C32. WarWizard 2, however, which is in
development now, in being done entirely in C++. And developments
a blast.
