Personally, I haven't seen these tests, much less heard of what MIPS
is....but do you honestly think that you are going to get something done
faster than a person with a Pentium?  In the real world, almost everthing
is networked....which again is limited by usually ethernet.....which is
almost always regular ethernet at 10mbs.  I don't care who, you are, that's
gunna slow you down.  And if you think that getting the software loaded
faster, or maybe having a little faster calculation is going to make you
more productive, your wrong.  The only thing that will, is if you,
yourself, are just plain faster, not your puter.
