I think to myself that it looks about right. The proportions seem correct for any MMORPG I have played. I haven't played them all. Guild Wars (all campaigns) - City of Heroes/Villains - WOW (2 years of my life down the tubes) - I tried EVE, LOTR, Age of Conan, Everquest 2, didn't like them. Hard to say why. I am currently playing Champions Online, and AION. The turn-in reward from quests is never where quest XP is at, in my experience. It's getting to, and through the ordeal. That's where it's at. The turn in reward is always proportionately huge in the early levels. I have never known it to be otherwise. As your character matures the pat on the back at the end of the quest isn't why you play. You find other rewards in the playing of the game. I don't think people are simply "grinding". Many of them are socializing as they play. The game becomes a stage and a backdrop - a glorified chat room. The quest activities are often just an excuse to do things with your buddies.
