Yes, you can see it for yourself in an Excel or 1-2-3 spreadsheet.  Enter the 
following:

          +-----+------------------+
          |     |   A              |
          +-----+------------------+
          |  1  |          4195835 |
          +-----+------------------+
          |  2  |          3145727 |
          +-----+------------------+
          |  3  |   =A1-(A1/A2)*A2 |
          +-----+------------------+

The answer in cell A3 should be 0. You will find that it returns 256 instead.
